Olumide, or “Lu” as he’s fondly called, is the proud owner and visionary behind Vida Springs Senior Living and Personal Care Home, a family-owned community established in 2023. A devoted husband and father of two, Lu’s story is one of resilience, compassion, and dedication.

Born in Nigeria, Lu’s journey brought him to the United States, where he embraced his new home with gratitude and became a proud American by both naturalization and spirit. His professional path began with humble roots as a State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA), a role that shaped his deep understanding of patient care, particularly for the elderly.

Through hard work and determination, Lu advanced in his career to become a licensed practitioner in the state of Ohio. Today, he serves in hospital and internal medicine at one of Cleveland’s leading healthcare systems, specializing in geriatric care. His hands-on experience and dedication to his patients’ well-being laid the foundation for the creation of Vida Springs.

The name “Vida,” meaning “dearly beloved,” reflects Lu’s core mission: to provide exceptional, compassionate care in an environment where every resident feels cherished. Having witnessed firsthand the challenges families face in finding quality care without overwhelming financial burdens, Lu envisioned a place where care takes precedence over profit.
